Lily returned the gesture, tears welling up in her eyes at the depth of Sarah's words. “Thank you,” she murmured, pressing her nose against Sarah's. “This means so much to me.”

With their emotions running high, they decided to take a shower together, cleansing themselves of the evening's passion. As they stood under the hot water, letting it cascade over their bodies, they spoke openly about their feelings and fears regarding the following day.
