Moments with cheerleader - Chapter 2

"Wow, that's amazing! Thank you so much, Coach Brad! I would love to join the team and show everyone what I can do. You can be sure of my total dedication for this team. Do you think there's anything else I could do to improve my chances?" Rachel asked sincerely, her eyes pleading for guidance. Coach Brad took note of her hunger for improvement, understanding it could lead to greater success on the field.

“Well, aside from perfecting your techniques and maintaining high standards academically, we require someone who can represent our values. That's why we require an interview to determine if you're the right fit in terms of character. If you like right now, we can make this discussion the final part of your tryout." As he spoke, Coach Brad observed Rachel's body language, looking for signs of acceptance or resistance to the concept.

Rachel tensed up in nervous anticipation and glee. "Really?! Oh, I would love that! That sounds great, Coach Brad! Let’s go ahead.” She smiled enthusiastically, feeling confident that she could handle any interrogation thrown her way. The thought of proving herself worthy enough for the position drove her ambition further.

Coach Brad began, "I really need to understand your commitment to cheer. What kind of hours are you willing to put in? How dedicated are you willing to show to me and your teammates?"

Rachel felt a surge of excitement. "Oh, I completely understand. I would be willing to put in as many hours as needed and show up early for practices and games. I'm determined to prove myself and make the team!" declared Rachel with conviction.
