Wicked chance - Chapter 41

Jasmine raised her hands towards the sky and started chanting some strange words, her voice rising and falling as she went through the motions. Her voice almost seemed to echo and change as she spoke some of the ancient words, the power contained in them reverberating through the air around her. She could feel a change in the atmosphere, the very air tingling with energy and anticipation.

Her body trembled as she neared the end of her incantation, every muscle tensing as she felt a surge of power building up inside of her. She could feel it all coalescing deep within her core, an intense heat that seemed to grow stronger and more intense by the second. It was as if she was standing at the edge of a precipice, staring down into a swirling abyss of raw, unadulterated power.

The energy surrounded her, coursed through her veins like liquid fire, and made every inch of her body feel alive with sensation. And then, without warning, the spell reached its crescendo. With a primal shout, Jasmine let go of all constraints, allowing the energy to take over and consume her completely. Her body glowed with an otherworldly light, the symbols she had painted on her skin gleaming as if on fire.
