Pills dillema - Chapter 4

The figure in black took a few steps into the light, scrutinizing them with cold, emotionless eyes. He was tall, well-built, and had a ruggedly handsome face. Despite his intimidating presence, there was an odd grace to his movements.

"I see you got my message." The figure said at last, a subtle hint of an eastern European accent lacing his deep voice.

Jim nodded, holding the stranger's gaze stubbornly. "Yes. I'm Jim, this is Tommy and Bryan. We're interested in procuring the pink bimbo pills, as our financial situation is dire and drastic measures need to be taken," Jim said, his voice wavering ever so slightly.

The mysterious man studied them for another moment, a small smirk dancing upon his lips. "Very well," he finally said, pulling out his smartphone and typing a message. Something in the way that he tapped at the screen made Jim suddenly realize that this man did not consider them equals; he simply saw them as a means to an end.

Despite the fear and uncertainty gnawing at him, Jim resolved to maintain his composure and see this through. As if summoned by some unspoken command, the figure slid a small black briefcase across the ground towards them. The sound of its metal fittings grinding against the asphalt was unnerving, like the descent of an executioner's blade.

"Open it," the figure instructed, and Jim obliged. Inside, nestled within layers of dark velvet, were three gleaming pink pills.
