Evans transformation - Chapter 1

It was late in the evening and I had been searching for some time at the antique bookstore at the end of the corner shops. I was on my way to get dinner and stumbled upon the dusty, hidden gem. With no immediate demands on my time, I couldn't resist wandering through the dimly lit sanctuary, inhaling the nostalgic scent of wood shelves, parchment, and forgotten pages.

It felt like I was stepping back in time, but I didn't mind. It was different from the digital form I faced every day, a welcome respite. I was a lonely 24 year old man and I was desperate to find a girlfriend, but I had no idea how to make that happen. I had dated a bit in the past and had a few serious girlfriends but nothing serious seemed to come my way. I kept asking myself, what was I doing wrong?

As I walked through the aisles, I noticed an antique book that caught my eye. It was a worn, brown leather-bound spell book. The title, "Spells & Enchantments," was faded and barely legible. My curiosity got the best of me, and I opened it. I flipped randomly to a page, and the title read, "Incantation of Amorous Allure." I snorted a bit at the idea of magic spells, but the desperation in me sparked some morbid curiosity.
